NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ORDINANCE #ORD2018-22 VACATING PORTION OF EDGAR AVENUE

The City of Dunnellon proposes to adopt the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE #ORD2018-22

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DUNNELLON, MARION COUNTY, FLORIDA, VACATING AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF A PLATTED RIGHT-OF-WAY DEPICTED AS EDGAR AVENUE ON THE "PLAT OF THE TOWNSITE DUNNELLON" RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK A, PAGE 174, OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF MARION COUNTY, FLORIDA; PROVIDING LEGISLATIVE FINDINGS; PROVIDING
DIRECTIONS TO CITY CLERK; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

A public hearing is scheduled for the Regular City Council Meeting on September 10, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. at Dunnellon City Hall, 20750 River Drive.

COPIES OF THIS ORDINANCE ARE AVAILABLE FREE OF CHARGE AT DUNNELLON CITY HALL, 20750 RIVER DRIVE, DUNNELLON, FLORIDA 34431, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY 8:00 A.M. UNTIL 4:00 P.M.  THE PUBLIC IS ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND AND COMMENT.

ANY PERSON REQUIRING A SPECIAL ACCOMMODATION AT THIS HEARING BECAUSE OF A DISABILITY OR PHYSICAL IMPAIRMENT SHOULD CONTACT THE CITY CLERK AT (352) 465-8500 AT LEAST 48 HOURS PRIOR TO THE PROCEEDING. IF A PERSON DESIRES TO APPEAL ANY DECISION WITH RESPECT TO ANY MATTER CONSIDERED AT THE ABOVE MEETING OR HEARING, HE OR SHE WILL NEED A RECORD OF THE PROCEEDING, AND FOR SUCH PURPOSE, HE OR SHE MAY NEED TO ENSURE THAT A VERBATIM RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS IS MADE, WHICH INCLUDES THE TESTIMONY AND EVIDENCE UPON WHICH THE APPEAL IS TO BE BASED. THE CITY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY MECHANICAL FAILURE OF RECORDING EQUIPMENT.
