Effective March 1, 2023, per Resolution #RES2023-03: The City Council meetings are held the week following the City Council workshop meetings on Wednesday. The City Council workshop meetings are held the first Monday of each month except for holidays. Special meetings and workshops may be called. Special meetings and workshops will be posted as a public notice. The public is encouraged to attend the meetings.

If you would like to be placed on the City Council agenda you must contact the city manager or the city clerkby calling (352) 465-8500. You must provide the topic of your discussion and any materials you would like distributed to City Council by the following times per Resolution RES2011-02:

Council Workshop

Persons wishing to appear before the council and wanting to be placed on the workshop agenda must make a written request for same to the city clerk on or before noon the Friday before the workshop meeting, together with any backup material the speaker wishes the Council to consider.
