Treatment of aquatic plant hydrilla on the Rainbow River will take place March 4-7.
During this time the river should not be used for drinking or to irrigate annual nursery or greenhouse crops, newly seeded or transplanted annual crops, ornamentals or turf within 7 days of the treatment. Water use restrictions do not apply to the use of well or tap water.
There are no restrictions on swimming, fishing, boating or the irrigation of established turf, ornamental plants or crops.
