The Florida Governmental Utility Authority (FGUA) is required to provide the County or its designee with information concerning proposed increases in rates, charges, customer classifications and terms of service at least sixty (60) days prior to the hearing date as established by the FGUA. Given COVID 19 precautions and restrictions, final hearing locations, dates, times and methodology will be subject to change. At this time, please accept this information as serving notice that the FGUA intends to hold a public hearing (subject to official COVID 19 related guidance) for the Dunnellon Utility System concerning: (1) revisions and updates to the Miscellaneous Fee Schedule. The public hearing is expected to be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 6:00 PM and will be continued to the FGUA Board of Directors meeting on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 1:00 PM. Again, the official governmental guidance regarding COVID 19 will determine whether the hearing is held electronically or at a specific location. The FGUA will keep the public apprised of new developments as they are known.
