Councilperson Juliane Mendonca was elected to the Dunnellon City Council, Seat 2 in November 2022.
Juliane and her husband Daniel have lived in Dunnellon for ten years. She has a Master of Social Work degree from Marywood University in Pennsylvania. Her career has focused on behavioral health care.
Juliane enjoys her full-time position at a national, full-service behavioral health managed care organization with a mission to help people in underserved areas get care, stay well and build healthy communities. She has been employed with the organization for more than 12 years.
Juliane strongly believes in service to the public for the betterment of the local community. She is vocal about enforcement of City codes and supports Dunnellon’s Beautification volunteers.
Juliane enjoys bicycling, paddling, traveling and volunteer work.
