NOTICE OF INTENT TO DISPOSE OF PUBLIC PROPERTY LOCATED AT 20804 WEST PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, DUNNELLON, FLORIDA 34431, PARCEL #3380-0467-00 IN THE CRA WITHIN THE CITY OF DUNNELLON

The City of Dunnellon hereby gives notice of its intent to dispose of public property within its CRA, by means of sale or exchange only, and to invite proposals from interested parties. All pertinent information will be made available to persons interested in the property pursuant to Florida Statute

§163.380, and consistent with the Community Redevelopment Plan. The property referred to herein is located on West Pennsylvania Avenue in the City of Dunnellon CRA and includes the following parcel: Parcel 3380-0467-00 (Zoned: B3 Central Business and RBO Residential Business Office)

This 30-day notice requirement is established by Florida Statutes, whereby proposals must be made within 30 calendar days after publication of this Notice. At the expiration of this notice period all proposals will be publicly opened and recorded. Proposals received after 6:00PM on the 30th day will not be considered. The City and its CRA reserve the right to reject all proposals, to re-notice the property or to keep it for the City’s future use, and to take any other action deemed to be in the best interests of the City and the CRA as provided for by statute.

Proposals must be sealed and clearly marked: BID #BID2024-07 Surplus Property 20804 West Pennsylvania Avenue. GENERAL PLANNING SERVICES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Dunnellon (“City”) is soliciting qualifications for General Planning Services in Dunnellon, Florida. Interested firms/individuals (“Proposer(s)”) may pick-up a copy of the Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) No. 2024-02 from the City Clerk’s Office, City Hall, 20750 River Drive, Dunnellon, Florida, 34431, or may download it by clicking the following link; RFQ2024-02 General Planning Services. The RFQ contains detailed and specific information about the scope of services, submission requirements, and evaluation and selection procedures.

One (1) original, five (5) hard copies, and one (1) electronic copy on a USB drive of the completed and executed qualifications must be delivered no later than April 30, 2024, at 2:00 PM (“Submission Deadline”), to the following address:

Any questions received by the Clerk after the stated deadline will be disregarded. All questions received by the Clerk prior to the stated deadline shall be answered via an Addendum to this RFQ and circulated to all registered Proposers. 

The City intends to enter into an agreement with the successful Proposer to provide General Planning Services in the City of Dunnellon, Florida. 

The City reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, reject any or all submissions, with or without cause, to waive technical errors and informalities, and to accept any proposal from a proposer which is qualified and best serves the interests of or represents the best value to the City.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Dunnellon will receive sealed bids for construction of The Granada and Palmetto Way Roadway Project.

All contractors licensed by the State of Florida are hereby invited to submit a bid on the above referenced project. Bids will be received until 2:00 pm, E.S.T., on April 29th, 2024 at the City of Dunnellon, City Hall, 20750 River Drive, Dunnellon, Florida 34431. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: All work for the Project shall be constructed in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by the Engineer. Bids shall be submitted for furnishing, delivering and installing all materials, equipment and services, including labor for the Work, which generally involves the following activities:

For The Granada and Palmetto Way Roadway Project, the work involves resurfacing and drainage improvements on portions of The Granada, River View, Maple Avenue, Wekiwa Circle, Oakwood Avenue, Magnolia Street, Oak Street, and Palmetto Way.

CONTRACT TIME: Construction time to achieve Substantial Completion is 180 consecutive calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed, with an additional 45 consecutive calendar days to achieve Final Completion (225 days total).

PROJECT MANUAL AND DRAWINGS: Copies of the Project Manual and Drawings are available for review at the office of the Engineer. Bid packages may be obtained by contacting the office of the Engineer.

All Payment and Performance Bonds shall be secured from or countersigned by an agency or surety company recognized in good standing and authorized to do business in the State of Florida.

The City of Dunnellon, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to waive formalities, waive any technical defects, reject any and all bids, and/or accept any bid which represents the lowest and best offer to the City.

FINANCIAL, REVENUE COLLECTION AND PERSONNEL ERP SYSTEM

The City of Dunnellon, Florida is requesting proposals from interested vendors to provide a Financial, Revenue Collection and Personnel ERP System. Copies of the RFP Specifications may be obtained from: City of Dunnellon, City Clerk’s Office, City Hall, 20750 River Drive, Dunnellon, Florida, 34431: telephone (352) 465-8500. The proposal labeled “RFP2023-02 Financial, Revenue Collection and Personnel ERP System” can be obtained by clicking here or DemandStar. One (1) Master, five (5) copies plus one (1) electronic copy of the proposal must be in a sealed envelope and submitted to the attention of the City Clerk at the address above, no later than 3:00 P.M., January 18, 2024 and must be clearly marked RFP2023-02 Financial, Revenue Collection and Personnel ERP System. Proposals received timely will be opened and read aloud as soon thereafter as practical. However, no award of proposal will be made at that time. The City of Dunnellon reserves the right to waive informalities in any proposal and to accept or reject any and all proposals in whole or in part without cause and to accept the proposal that in the judgement of the City Council will be in the best interest of the City of Dunnellon.
