• Blue Run of Dunnellon Park, 
  19680 E. Pennsylvania Avenue

Acquired in 2008 through a grant from the Florida Communities Trust, this park provides walking/birding trails, a 3-acre pond, access to the Rainbow River for kayaking, and is a popular exit point for visitors and residents tubing along the river. Significant improvements were implemented in 2015 and a restroom facility is being planned. NEW - Click park link to view adopted rules regarding commercial use prohibition.  Click here for a video of the Grand Opening Ceremony of the Withlacoochee-Dunnellon Trail Connector.  The trail now extends all the way through this amazing park. 

• Centennial Park and City of Dunnellon Boat Ramp Facility, 
  12196 S. Williams Street

Located along the banks of the Withlacoochee River behind City Hall, this park includes a boat ramp, floating dock, picnic tables, restroom facilities, large deck w/bench seating, open grassy area sloping down to the river. Great place for events including concerts, sunrise services, and fishing tournaments.

• Chaplin A. Dinkins, III Memorial Park (City Beach),
  12099 Palmetto Court

Located at the convergence of the Withlacoochee and Rainbow Rivers, this park offers a beautiful setting for swimming, picnics, and grilling out while enjoying a day in the sunshine. Picnic tables, restroom facilities, playground equipment are provided for your enjoyment. There is a user fee of $2.00 per person per day. Children under the age of six are free. Annual passes are available and require the holder to show a photo identification upon using the pass. A pass grants daily entrance into the beach all year long during the times the beach is open to the public. $20.00 per year pass fee for the City of Dunnellon residents. Each residence (property owner or tenant, not both) located within the City of Dunnellon is entitled to two free passes per address/parcel/unit. $40.00 per year pass fee for non-residents. From October to February the hours of operation are from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and from March until September 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.  

Great setting for birthday parties.
Parking availability is limited; we encourage carpooling.
There is no paddle craft access to or from this park.  

• Datesman Park, 
  12050 S. Ohio Street

Overflow parking provided at this location for both cars and trailers using the local boat ramp facility. There is a gazebo located on the property.

• Ernie Mills Park, 
  11899 Bostick Street

This park is one of the City’s more spacious recreational properties providing a jogging track, playground, concession stand, BBQ grills, picnic tables, basketball court, pickle ball court, and a covered staging area. This park is used quite often for birthday parties, concerts, community celebrations, and is the popular location for the City-sponsored Movies in the Park.

• L.O. Robertson Park, 
  20980 West Highway 40

This playground was constructed and funded by Charles Dillon III, a local contractor and former City Councilman in honor of the late Councilman L.O. Robinson.

Reservations

Reservations are not accepted.  Private parties, not advertised as open to the public, do not require a special event permit. Private party events at public parks are on a first come, first serve basis and are subject to availability of space.  The Dunnellon Police Department reserves the right to end gatherings which demonstrate a disruption or risk to public safety.
