Dispatcher
The Dispatcher is responsible for call taking and assigning officers to Calls for Service. Another part of the dispatchers duties is helping the public in the police department's lobby, and answering phone calls. The dispatcher will also provide copies of reports to insurance companies, attorneys and the public. The dispatcher works with the Prosecutors Office, State Attorney's office and the Clerk's office to assure they receive the necessary documents needed for court. The dispatcher will also properly file all completed reports
Support Staff Services
The Support Staff Services personnel is responsible for the day to day operations of the computer systems, vehicle maintenance and Officer uniform and safety equipment. They assist the Chief in developing the department budget, tracks the approved budget expenditures, and submits invoices for payment. They assist in writing grants and monitors the grant budgets. They track the department's ordering, and assist the Chief with other duties as assigned.
