Historic Preservation Board
Meetings
Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 5:30 pm.
Agenda, Backup, Minutes & Audio
The Dunnellon City Council is expected to discontinue captioning services for livestreaming the Historic Preservation Board meetings. As a result, livestreaming must also be discontinued because audio/video will not be ADA compliant for website posting. This change is aimed at reducing captioning costs due to low viewer engagement. This change will take place on October 1, 2024, after which audio recordings only will be available upon request.
Note: Please note some existing audio files are currently listed as video files.

Description
The purpose of the Historic Preservation Board is to promote and preserve educational, cultural and economic welfare of the public. The Historic Preservation Board has established uniform procedures to preserve the City’s historic resources by enhancing public participation and involvement in the preservation and protection of such resources, including buildings, structures, monuments, and other historic resources. In keeping with its purpose, the Board has developed the Application for Historic Preservation Grant Facade Renovations. Interested person(s) should complete the application and submit to the Community Development Department for submission to the Board.

The State also requires each member to complete a Form 1F Final Statement of Financial Interest within 60 days of leaving or terminating your board membership. Each year the State will mail the Form 1 directly to board members. Members are responsible for returning the form in a timely manner to avoid fines.
