Responsibilities

The Police Chief serves as the coordinator of emergency management for the City of Dunnellon and is a member of the Marion County Emergency Management Team. The City of Dunnellon Emergency Management staff is responsible for reducing the loss of life and property, as well as protecting our critical infrastructure from natural and man-made disasters. Dunnellon Emergency Management successfully accomplishes its mission through a comprehensive, risk-based emergency management program of mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery.
